About the Author & Illustrator   Author Salvatore Puglisi was a graduate of Michigan State University’s School of Packaging. He is now retired after spending his career in designing consumer packaging, much of it for children’s gum and candy. He was an early adopter of computer graphic design and his creative pursuits range from nature photography to designing and building furniture. He has traveled extensively and is the grandfather of six, all under 8 years of age. He lives in New Jersey. David Byrne was a graduate of Carnegie-Mellon in Industrial Design. He is now retired after spending his career in designing a wide range of consumer products and packaging. He is an accomplished fine artist, sculptor and illustrator, specializing in nature and animals. He also creates a weekly editorial cartoon for a local newspaper in New Jersey. He is the grandfather of three.
